I think I have been discriminated against

We believe unlawful discrimination is never okay.

Discrimination occurs when an individual or a group of people are treated less favourably than others based on a protected characteristic such as age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership (in employment), pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief (including lack of belief), sex or gender, sexual orientation.

If you feel you are in immediate danger, you can call 999 (or 112 from a mobile).

Find a safe place.  If an incident has just happened try and find somewhere you feel safe. If this isn't possible and you are scared or fearful on campus you can call AUB security on 07471145782.

The Faith and Reflection Centre, based in Talbot House on the edge of the AUB / BU campuses, has a quiet room and offers a quiet, supportive space. Open to people of all faiths, or none, the Centre is a reassuring and secure environment.

Talk to a friend or someone you trust, or look on this site to find out more about the support available to you.
