AUB policies for students

All students have a right to complain in confidence if they believe they are being treated in a way which breaches AUB’s Equality Commitment or which is harmful or disrespectful whilst studying at AUB.  No member of the University community is expected to tolerate what they genuinely and reasonably believe to be bullying, harassment, sexual harassment or victimisation, whether by a member of the University community or a third party such as a supplier or visitor to the University.

The Student Code of Conduct sets out AUB’s expectations of student conduct.

If you wish to complain about a member of staff, or a service you have received from AUB, you can make a formal complaint. The Head of Academic and Student Services manages all formal complaints, and can offer you confidential advice and guidance if you are considering making a formal complaint. Contact hcooperhind@aub.ac.uk

If you wish to complaint about another student, this will be dealt with via the Student Disciplinary Policy. The Head of Academic and Student Services manages student disciplinary cases, and can offer you confidential advice and guidance if you are considering making a formal complaint about another student.
